It’s that time of year again when all I want to do is stay out of the kitchen and go outside. Funny thing is though we still have to eat! But this salad is the perfect combination of freshness and summer taste. Our family has this a couple times each month and it’s perfect to make a large bowl of and just eat for light snack even. I hope you enjoy.
Here is what you will need:
Rotisserie Chicken or cooked chicken 2-3 cups depending on how much meat you want.
2 cans of mandarin oranges drained
3 celery stalks
1 box of bowtie pasta
2-3 cups of chopped grapes
Poppyseed dressing. My personal favorite is Brianna’s
Cook pasta and drain over cold water. Let cool down. Add all the ingredients and let sit in fridge for a couple hours to chill. Not necessarily a must but I think it tastes better really cold. Then add the dressing just before serving. I typically add about 3/4 of the dressing. Just to your taste. ENJOY!
