The smells, the traditions, the decorations of Christmas came extra early in our house this year, and maybe you have done the same. One of the things we love to do as a family is to have parties and surround ourselves with those we love. We always know that we will find so many decorating options at Tai Pan so that’s were we started.
I received product in exchange for this post from Tai Pan Trading. All opinions and text are mine.
Playing games and having treats is where we always start. We live in a very chilly area so having a Hot Cocoa Bar happens very often, if not daily. We have recently updated a portion of our kitchen and we want to take full advantage of this space this year. So we decided it was perfect timing to have a Hot Cocoa Bar at our house with some close friends. What made this especially fun is that we each brought something to contribute and it made my job a little easier as the host. Having friends like Pam, Holly, and Ashley make hosting parties fun when they are so talented.
We knew we would want a variety of toppings and types of hot chocolate. With marshmallow’s, peppermint, chocolate chips, and toffee how could you not find a cup of hot cocoa to enjoy. I wanted to make sure that everyone knew I appreciated their help, so I decided a great affordable to go treat would be these Hot Cocoa jars. I found them at Hobby Lobby and they are the perfect size for this gift.
To assemble them I just started with hot cocoa then add your desired flavors, using peppermint, marshmallow, and mini chocolate chips. Enjoy!!
Holly at My Sisters Suitcase but together these darling letter board ornaments for your Christmas tree of any size. Aren’t they darling? I can see these being all over my house this year in a variety of ways. Be sure to check it out, she has a great tutorial to show you how.
Also can you even believe the talent that Holly has with this inspired chalk art? She makes it look so easy and says it is, be sure to go check out her page for a tutorial.
Also don’t forget the treats for your hot cocoa bar!! Pam at Over the Big Moon has created these yummy treats for you and your guests. Trust me I tasted them, they are amazing and I had to hold myself back from eating them all. They are the perfect addition to your hot cocoa!!
Making sure we don’t leave out the hot chocolate, the food genius, Ashley from Ashley’s Fresh Fix put together a hot chocolate recipe you will be sure have to try this winter!!!
